If you go this route, please do so eyes-wide-open: We've not yet interfaced the iFly with the NavWorx devices. I don't anticipate any huge hurdles, but you never know. We're early in the technical discovery; we haven't even received a working NavWorx device to play with yet. There is a possibility that there is something fundamentally different that will turn this into a big project. So I cannot commit to a date when we will support NavWorx devices.

Also, in regards to the Nav Worx unit. The PADS Weather Box supports Weather only, no traffic. It's a nice compact device and they are even planning ahead for the future of ADS-B with a Transciever that has already been submitted for FCC certification.

As for the discount pricing of the NavWorx. Owners purchasing an iFly 700 between 7/20 and 12/31 of this year will receive the $300 discount, making a net purchase of $695 through Nav Worx. Purchases outside the 7/20-12/31window will receive a discounted price of $800. It also looks like they will also maintain this $800 price for all iFly owner for 2012.

This is part of a promotion we proposed to them and they agreed. We will post more information once we confirm unit compatability. ADS-B is a standard protocal, so like Walter states we don't see any major issues. We just want all parties fully informed. So, until we confirm compatibility, just proceed with caution, it shouldn't be long.

I also would be interested in a group purchase. It appears the ADS-b is very functional up here in Massachusetts
