Also be aware that your cable may be insufficient. It's been mentioned in other forums, and my personal experience is that ONE out of about 10 cables I have around the house can provide enough juice between the power source and the Pi on my dual radio/AHRS build.

I have compiled a guide on putting one of these together with parts list, building steps, configuration, and operational testing. Mine used the compact three piece case. There are several pictures. I have not yet added steps for IFly testing and plan to add a few more pictures on wiring the GPS/AHRS chip. It is too large to post here (4.8 megabytes) but if anyone wants one, just ask.

Well this is embarrassing. I found the GPS/AHRS chip once and didn’t bookmark the link and now can't find it.

Kent, do you have the link to buy the chip. Yes, please send info on your build of the GPS/AHRS.
