Once you find the target, it has a number (i.e., +03 or -15) attached to it indicating the altitude delta, so that's already there.

I also sometimes us two other apps in addition to iFly GPS. Their traffic display is far inferior to iFly. I prefer it like it is. I have no problem knowing where to look for the traffic based on the current display.

Just flew back from NV to UT and had ample opportunity to use the traffic feature. How about making the yellow/red traffic icons flash - or do something to draw more attention to them. Blue, not much of a worry, but even with the alert info, easily finding the yellow/red "intruder" could be improved.

And as usual, I strongly second EM's suggestion that the traffic box pop up only when there is traffic in the selected range (for traffic alerts). We prefer to fly with the traffic box enabled when around higher traffic areas, but switching between the instrument layouts is a pain. Even on our 8.4 Galaxy Tab, the traffic box hides a significant portion of the map display - especially when zoomed in on approach to an airport. If there's no ADSB reported traffic to display it would be a real benefit to having the traffic box hidden upon approach.

Ergonomic:

On my Android tablet or phone I have the headphone output going into my Zulu headset via wire.

When a target is nearing my position it beeps to draw my attention to the screen.

On the screen a box indicates the info on the approaching threat and the target has turned red. I tap on the target and it keeps me informed about all aspects of the impending threat.

I find this all I need to avoid yet another midair.

Do you think that having more audio coming into our ears that we may conflict with important position messages from our wingmen or ATC instructions?

Erg:

I agree that seeing targets on the VFR chart are a bit difficult. That's why I mostly use the vector chart option. Targets really jump out at you in this mode.
