For those that are bit impatient for the Windows version, the iFly Android version works very well with both the BlueStacks 2 and AmiDUOS Android emulators. Been using them for over 6 months with no issues.

Dave, are you still using your Surface 3 with IFly. I'm still trying to decide if I want to purchase a Surface Pro 4 to replace my laptop.

I ordered my Surface Pro 4 this afternoon. I downloaded Blue Stacks Android emulator onto my Windows 7 laptop and installed the Android beta version of iFly GPS. I only had 5 minutes to fool with it, but it seemed to work OK. So, when I receive my Surface Pro, I will probably add the multi-platform option and install iFly.

Please be advised that the iFly GPS software will work on Blue stacks, however it is not confirmed that the touch interaction will work, nor will the subscription modeling work.

Bluestacks does not assign a device ID, so there is no unique ID to assign to your iFly account, thus it will remain on a 5 minute mode. I demo'd this to possibility to Walter and Brian many, many months ago, but there are numerous bug and issues with this combo.

This Windows or Mac / Bluestacks scenario is not currently supported by iFly GPS app. It may be something they get fully working in the future, but not at this time. Just wanted to make sure you are all aware of this...

So, how is Dave using BlueStacks and running iFly GPS on his Surface 3? Do you have a work around?

So, how is he able to do this?
