Does anybody know the size of the right angle barrel connector on the pwr cord? I need to make my pwr cord longer.

Thanks all

Steve,

The barrel plug is a 3.5mm OD x 1.3mm ID. The plug should only have a basic 2 wire positive and negative connection inside. You could also splice in a extension that would make it a quick release set up. Just a thought.

Hey Shane - we spoke months ago about a convenient coil cord (I like a radar detector). Much better for use in a car - any prospect?

Thx

Dave

Dave,

Nothing to replace the existing cord with yet, however I did find a universal coiled cord at Radio Shack and Fry's. You'd have to match the tip up with the iFly. That tip size is a 3.5mm OD and 1.3mm ID barrel plug. I'll continue to look for some other options that might be able to be offered on store.

Stevee - As I go from motel to motel on long trips, I too, have wished for a longer power cord when I update weather/TFR's in the morning. I solved the problem by simply buying a 6 foot extension cord.

BTW, we just got back to Utah from our trip to Va. and N.C. - 39.8 hours of flying in 23 days. What a comfort to know that I had up-to-date weather and TFR's every day! I wish that all the politicians would stay still.
