Here is the status directly from the ISP, everything should be working correctly now.

Regardless, since this isn't the first time we've had DNS issues with 1and1, we've moved that service to a more robust provider. Please let me know if you continue to have access problems.

I've been having issues getting to iFly site. I somehow lucked out by going to different search engines to finally get here, Yahoo got me here.

That means I still can't update. Anything I've done today hasn't worked either, ping, tracert, ip address.

I could use my iPhone to get here though.

It seems we are still having DNS issues. The site is up and running, but that doesn't help anybody if the Internet doesn't know where we are. We're working as hard as possible to get all these issues resolved, sorry fo the inconvenience.

I have been having download problems for the past year. Some I can blame on my pitiful DSL where I live. The message about check the connection is only for iFly. I could update my Garmin last night, panel mount, so also an SD card update. It takes moments wheras the iFly takes hours, when it downloads. The neighbor is on the same DSL, uses an iPad with Foreflight, and no problems.

I bought my 700 before they were shipping and have been a proponent of iFly since day 1. However, if I had needed the update last night, as I thought I did, it might have changed my mind about my hope and planning to upgrade to a 720.

Wow, no problem getting here today. Haven't tried to update, but I bet I can.

Here's a link with a video from ipviking.com that I think is really interesting.
