Traffic from the SkyRadar, but not on the screen

I was messing around with my 700 the other day. I got into one of the menus that had traffic as a choice. When I opened it, it showed traffic in written form at 2 o'clock 2.3 miles, but the traffic did not show on the nav screen when I went back to the nav screen. I cannot remember the sequence I used in the menu scheme to get there, and the 700 is at the airport now. Has anyone else seen this menu page and got traffic?

Touch the Screen to get the Options Menu. In there is a Traffic Information option, possibly in the "More Options" area. What version of software are you running? You can go to Menu, About, Version and Contact to see this.

Earlier versions with ADS-B traffic only showed traffic once within an alert area, based on Dist, Alt and Impact Time. If the traffic was not relevant, we didn't show it on screen, once closer and within a altitude threshold, we popped a alert and showed the traffic.

New software versions show the traffic all the time, regardless of dist, time or altitude. We just use those for the Alerts.

Is there any news on the problems with the D2? Any chance we'll see an update?

Sorry this didn't make 7.6. Hoping for a 7.7 fix to this problem. We don't have a date for that yet.

FWIW, I was seeing traffic from the D2 on my 720 when I was in the Weather (ADS-B) mode...and near a major metropolitan airport. I expected to see it in the sectional mode but didn't. I'm not positive, but traffic may have been showing in the blank areas when I was getting close to a map change on the sectional page. I think I saw it there once but I may be wrong - I was kind of busy at the time and paying attention to other things.

From my perspective, traffic is going to need to be pretty bright to be seen on the sectional page. The black triangles with lines are visible but pretty large in weather mode. At this point, traffic has very limited usefulness, imo. Perhaps when the full in/out ADS-B is implimented it will be a help.
