The new Pi B+ hardware (meets FCC specs for emitted radiation) requires the latest version of the firmware. So for some, using the old firmware will not solve this problem.

"Maybe Stratux with the latest update only works with ForeFlight now?"

That was not the intent of the r5, although I think that you're on the right track. The commits shows that the FF code was added in to the main code and I expect that Chris will find an error in a conditional somewhere that causes the wrong GDL90 stream to go out to non-FF units.

Yes, and that is what I did. Problem is that FF compatibility wasn't the only thing rolled out in this update. There were other (admittedly minor) bug fixes in there as well.

Just curious - the previous posts re ver 1.4r4 and 1.4r5 (which has the gps issue) mention AHRS.  I was somehow under the impression that the beta build 1.3b3 was the version to run if we wanted AHRS output.  Can someone clarify this for me?

AHRS has been in the main Stratux build since 1.4r1. So you might want to update to 1.4r4 and then sh' up until about mid-March. (Since at least one of the sh's after that presumably broke something, per above.)
