It's trivial. You power up both the iFly 720 and the SkyRadar, establish the wifi link between the boxes by going to the iFly's wi-fi setup page and choosing the SkyRadar from the list of networks, and voila...it just works.

Don't forget that until you get up to where you can get an adsb sig your wx display won't be very cool - I'm lobbying for an overlay button on the VFR and/or LOW airways charts...

Well i took the plunge and ordered the dual skyrad receiver for $799

They are having a special until May 20 or so. Not happy about the ~$35 for shipping via regular Fedex ground. Ah well !!

The skyradar showed up today

Got the wifi connected to skyradar00...but could not pull up any data

The weather icon/button shows adsb- no data. I was of course on the ground and not in the air. The strange thing is that the skyradar software on my iphone showed numerous planes, albeit at 35,000 ft

Why didnt my ifl show the same?

The trial version of wingX also showed the same planes on the iphone

Any suggestions?

Were you getting weather info on the other devices? If not, I suspect only the traffic band was receiving information. The iFly will only show nearby traffic in a bold manner, otherwise it's just a tiny red dot and hard to see.
