Extend runways shortcut

I used to be able to tap and hold an airport and then quickly extend the runway centerlines. Now this option is gone and has the real view instead. Is there any way to get that shortcut back? (Extending rwy via quick menu requires 4 taps instead of hold and 1 tap)

alternatively, can Extndeded rwys stay between applications restarts?

This is a great candidate for the iFly shortlist of great ideas. I can't remember the last time we ever flew into an airport without having a runway extended. How about we promote this to the beta wishlist?

I'm pretty sure the shortcut was there before the last update. Or may be I pushed a wrong button and disabled it. Not sure

What's interesting is that after I extend rwys from the quick menu, I'm able to Hide them via the Tap and Hold menu. ie it sort of works, but only in reverse.

I'll amend my previous post - but in doing so I've discovered something else about iFly. One can do the tap and hold (or what works for me is press and hold) - on an airport that is designated in the active flight plan as a landing location and the choice to extend runways is present.

However tapping/pressings and holding on any other airport - whether in the flight plan or not (as long as it is not designated as a landing waypoint) does not bring up the option to extend runways.

FWIW, this was tested on ver .18 using stock Android 8
