Hello - i'm a brand-new user, still on the trial version.  I have iFlyGPS installed on my Android tablet and I see that there is a download/installation for Windows.  Wondering if there will be an installation available for Linux, specifically Ubuntu-based distros.  I do use WINE on sometimes, so that could work as well.

I don't know, not a big deal, but doing some planning from my laptop or PC is sometimes easier than using the tablet or phone, but I can deal.  Prior to this I was  using FlightPlan.com and their web interface is nice for planning.  Again, not a big deal, but thought i'd check :)

Just a user here, so not an official iFly response.  However, this has been discussed here before, and there's just no evidence of sufficient demand for that to be worth the development cost.  Keep in mind that iFly is primarily an in-fight tool, and there is no legitimate tablet-style Linux platform with enough market saturation to justify spending the development resources to support it.

In all my time here, I never thought I'd see a request for a Linux version!

We don't have the .tar for Linux (I ran Ubuntu in college and I think it's a .tar or a .gz) but if you use WINE then you can go to https://www.iflygps.com/windowsdownload and get the .exe

Brolin, you nerds speak a strange langauge.  I thought WINE was something you drink. And .tar and .gz are far out in the ether.

I'd be happy with iFly Connect to update the SD card with either a Ubuntu or Mint box (which the laptop in the hangar runs).
