Ciao, I've re-read this thread.  Still not sure I'm getting it...but is this right?:  You wish to power a Stratux using one of our old T-Power 12 volt batteries.  And based on the image you sent, I presume you have the barrel style battery, not the USB out battery.  And now you need to know the tip size for that battery, so you can buy or build a 12-volt to 5-volt cable.  If this is the case...I do not recommend this approach...much cheaper, easier, and better to just pick up a USB power pack.  We have some on our store for $30.  There are other versions available on Amazon or Walmart that will do a great job.

Thanks Walter, you put your finger on it, I was trying to lessen the mounting amount of stuff in my flight bag, you have to admit that it is getting to much, I will predict here, that we will soon see in the news, the first Pilot to hang himself with his power cord(s), or choke on an ingested battery during a bumpy flight.

Ciao

Did you ever have a couple large binders full of Jeppensen charts in your flight bag?

Get one of these. They work great.
