Has anyone on the forum purchased and installed the supplimental hardware box for the Navworx 600EXP?

I don't want to be the 1st on my block to buy one as yet.

Like to see what $299.00 buys besides conformity to the FAA 2020 mandate.

I don't see the hardware advertised on either the navworx site or Dallas Avionics.

Think of it this way...anything you have already spent is "sunk" cost.  If you can become 2020 compliant for $299, that sounds like a bargain.

I completely understand and concur. However I was asking about the installation and funtionality of the hardware. Guess I didn't make that clear.

Even with the extra $300 it is still a bargain when added to the $1500 I origionally paid for the 600EXP.  And as a mid air survivor, there is not too much money to spend to minimize a recurrence of that terror.

Send me a Text at  770 eight Two three 3426 and I will send you a pic of the  tech page that I  picked up at  OSH.   I went ahead and ordered  mine. They said shipping  to start 8/15/17 but  I wouldn t  expect it before Oct.  ( based on  prior  experience).,  and will not be required until  the first of the year as per the AD . Looks like a piggy back  box,  I assume a new position source, with  DB9  jumper  to the original and additional DB9 provided on  the new box.

Thanks, but your email address was a bit obscure with no at sign so I'll send you mine. Would really like to see the hardware.
