Oh, yeah, in my excitement about updating the card I forgot that I have a Mac. Boo! (Yay for Mac, boo for Windows.)

It would be lovely if iFly Connect ran on Macs. It would be lovely if iFly ran on Macs, too.

[I originally posted something grumpy here about Windows and Microsoft. Sorry! I've deleted it.]

But it just occurred to me that those iFly apps could probably be made to work in Wine and run on Macs. I sometimes use the Wine version of HanDBase Windows Desktop, and it works just fine. (HanDBase is THE best ever portable database manaager, originally written for the Palm Pilot and now on iPhone and Android.)

I love my Microsoft Surface Pro 4 (Windows 10). And, it runs iFly GPS very well, as does my iPad Mini 4.

Oh my gosh, you're one of those guys with an OPINION! You MUST be dealt with appropriately!

I'm on the other side of the fence - I'm a Windows and Android fan and I would never own a crApple product (my wife has several). No big deal, we all have opinions and preferences and some of them stink. ;)

Sounds like you know your way around a computer, even if it's one of *those*. If you use iFly much, you might want to put in a request to join the beta team at http://www.iflygps.com/Beta but watch out - the last question is a GOTCHA!
