Do we need to make any adjustments for daylight savings time? Some of us appear to be an hour ahead.

Arizona doesn't do DST.

Having said that, I am often ahead of the times.

I thought that might be the issue, until I saw I was also ahead by an hour.

There is a check box for DST in the settings page when you set the time. Is this what you're asking for?

Yes, but I don't see it. All I see is the drop down box to select time zone.
