I took a look at Dynon's offering today. I like the ability to integrate equipment and the fact that they offer one-stop shopping. However, a base Dynon package that matches the capabilities of the ADS-B packages I outlined comes in at almost $11K. That's without any of the engine monitoring features.

I picked up a used certified Garmin GTX 327 transponder today for $1,000. So it's going to be the SkyView or Navworx package.

Ron: You're right about the STX 360. I just learned from a dealer that no WAAS GPS is included. The Lynx is sure sexy, but $$$.

I've elected to go with a modified Package 4.

PAR200A NAVCOM
Garmin GTX 327
SkyGuardTWX VisonPro with ADS-B & AHRS (and iFly 740)

I've ordered the 978 MHz UAT antenna and an annuciator light. It would have been nice if these were included in the Skyguard kit. I'll use the included interior mount GPS antenna on the Skyguard. The Skyguard provides ADS-B In/Out, GPS, and AHRS.

My altiimeter failed the static check, too much air leading around the face. I've ordered an MGL ALT-4 altimeter with build in VSI and encoder. I'll keep the existing altimeter and VSI as backup guages

Awaiting all the parts so I can start installing.

Bruce, I can give you a good deal on a PS Engineering PM2000 stereo intercom. I bought this many years ago and never installed it. The book says that warranty starts when you install it. I have the factory wiring harness for a 4-place plane and two rear volume/squelch controls for rear passengers. You can mount this either horizontal or vertical. Let me know if you are interested.
